Looking for a material that would be eco-friendly, I came across a type of board made from recycled water bottles (240 water bottles per board!). I’m able to cut and carve this into shapes and then paint them--with metallic acrylics, mica powder, and lacquers. Some are finished with 23k gold leaf.
